Chapter 529 - I Didn't Hit You, You Offended Me First

Seeing that his mother had left, Taio glanced at the makeup items scattered on the table, and his eyes glanced at the lipstick ?  his mother had just used, so he stretched his shorthand and picked it up. Then remembering the image of his mother painting her lips, he copied her. But what was funny was that this little guy totally missed his lips and went ahead to paint a little part of his lips after pouting them, and then the rest went to his cheeks.

Because of his height, he really couldn\'t see his face in the mirror, so he could only rely on his instinct.

But when he heard his mother\'s approaching footsteps and her voice on the phone, He quickly tried to put the lipstick back from where he got it from, but he ended up causing a disaster.

He tripped, and his hand hit the makeup items off the table, causing a lot of noise.

Chen Lihua heard the noise and hurried inside the room to check on her son only to be surprised by the scene before her.

Her little son was staring at the mess he caused with confusion on his face. Hearing his mother\'s footsteps in the room, he quickly looked over.

Currently, Chen Lihua and Taio were exchanging glances. There was a dangerous look on Chen Lihua\'s face, and Taio knew his mother would scold him, so he glanced at the mess and squat before starting to pick them up.

"I will call you back." Chen Lihua said to the person at the other end of the phone before terminating the call.

"Taio!." Chen Lihua screamed his name as she glared at him.

Taio fidgeted when he heard his mother\'s loud tone.

Right at this moment Liu Longwei walked into the bedroom and saw Che Lihua standing at the door to her walk-in closet and staring at something with an ugly expression on her face.

He walked towards her as he asked, "What\'s going on?."

Chen Lihua glanced at him without saying anything.

Liu Longwei knew she was very annoyed since she wasn\'t saying anything so he decided to find things out for himself.

When he walked into the closet, lo and behold, he saw his little son squatting and trying to pick up the mess on the floor.

He called out, \'Taio?\' and Taio glanced at him with that red-stained face. Liu Longwei was surprised to see that state he was in, so he glanced at Chen Lihua, but she was staring at her son like she wanted to spank his butt.

After glancing at his father, he looked back to the mess he caused and continued picking up the broken things.

Glancing at his palms, Taio frowned. Seeing that his little palms were stained with powder, he wanted to clean his palms, because he felt uncomfortable.

He glanced at his shirt, and his next instinct was to clean his palms on his shirt, but his father stopped him.

Liu Longwei called out to him as he walked towards him to help him up.

"Sweetheart, I need a hand here." Liu Longwei said to Chen Lihua was still looking so grumpy.

"There is no need for this shopping, so why don\'t we cancel it? I just stepped out to get my phone, and just before I could get back, he already caused this mess." Chen Lihua said while glaring at Taio.

Taio understanding that his mother was unhappy with him, looked away.

"Sweetheart, calm down." Liu Longwei said to her.

"Hiw can I calm down? Just look at his face. He broke my things and caused a mess in my room. I told him not to touch anything, I need to spank his butt to teach him a lesson." Chen Lihua said as she walked towards the father and son.

Liu Longwei shielded Taio from her as he continued asking her to calm down.

Chen Lihua glared at Liu Longwei. She was angry with him that he was stopping her from teaching their son a lesson.

"Just calm down okay?." Liu Longwei said as he placed his hands on her shoulders.

Chen Lihua stared at him for a few seconds before sighing. She turned to her table to pick up some wipes, while Liu Longwei pulled Taio to stand in front of him.

Seeing that guilty look on his face, Liu Longwei squat and helped his hands. Staring into his eyes, he said, "You disobeyed Mummy, and you broke her things and caused a mess as well. You should apologize to Mummy, come on, say, \'I\'m sorry.\'"

Taio fiddled with his fingers before looking up at his father. He still had that lipstick stain on his lips and face. Then slowly, he glanced at Chen Lihua who was holding the wipes in her hand.

"Mummy, I\'m sorry," Taio said in a low tone.

Chen Lihua ignored him as she took his little hand in hers and wiped the powder stain with a frown on her face. When she was through with the other hand, she took the other one as well, before going the lipstick stain off his face.

Taio was feeling bad that his mother didn\'t reply to him, so immediately his eyes became teary. And before you know it, tears started to roll down his cheeks.

Liu Longwei couldn\'t stand it again, as he squats beside the mother and son.

"Sweetheart he has apologized already, say something to him. Look, he is crying because you ignored him."

Chen Lihua used the wipes picked up to dap his tears. "Taio, don\'t cry, I didn\'t hit you. You offended me first."

Liu Longwei was speechless. When he asked her to say something to him, he didn\'t mean she should use harsh words or scold him, he meant she should accept his apology and say sweet words to him so he could stop crying. But what did she do? She was still blaming him.

Taio sniffed and started making muffled noises. Chen Lihua stared at him and didn\'t know if she should continue to be angry or to placate him. But she chose the latter.

She consoled him as she wiped his tears. She hugged him and kissed his plump cheeks.

Seeing that everything was mostly settled, Liu Longwei stepped out to call the servants to clean up the messed-up room.
